aemi @ International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) 2026

International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) is one of the most important events on the calendar in artist and experimental film exhibition. The presence of Irish filmmakers featured at the festival has grown significantly in recent years and this year is no exception.
For the second year running aemi was invited to submit a work by an Irish or Ireland-based film artist for possible inclusion in the festival’s DINAMO programme. DINAMO is an international network of artist film distributors who meet and share works from their collections every year at the festival.
aemi is thrilled to present Chloe Brenan’s Verdigris (2025) as part of DINAMO:Exposure which will screen twice during the festival at Kino 3; firstly on Friday January 30th at 4.45pm and again on Monday February 2nd at 2.45pm. For full details of this programme see here.
Both Chloe and aemi co-director Alice Butler will be in attendance at the screening on Friday January 30th at 4.45pm for a Q&A after the programme.

In addition aemi are delighted to announce that Jesse Jones‘ stunning film Mirror Martyr Mirror Moon (2026) will also screen at this year’s festival in competition as part of the Tiger Short Competition. Jesse is also travelling to Rotterdam to present her film at the festival where it will screen on four occasions, on Jan 31st, Feb 1st, 3rd and 5th 2026.
