aemi announces residency with DCC’s ‘incubation space’ at Unit 4

aemi launched its residency at Dublin City Council’s Incubation Space at Unit 4 last night.
The Incubation Space Award is intended to enable innovative artists and arts companies or collectives working in any artistic discipline to research and develop new works or collaborative methodologies. Incubation Space Awards are offered through the provision of a dedicated work space in Unit 4, James Joyce Street. aemi we delighted to receive this award from Dublin City Council.
aemi were delighted to receive this award from Dublin City Council which they launched last night with their first public event in the space. For this event, aemi’s first ‘Rough Cut’ of the year, three artist filmmkaers – Chloe Brenan, Luke van Gelderen and Temmuz Süreyya Gürbüz – generously presented works in progress while Don O’Mahony, Senior Programmer at Cork International Film Festival, responded to the works. All three artists are currently part of aemi’s year long ‘Developing Your Practice as a Film Artist’.
