GAZE is a queer film festival hosted in the Light House Cinema and Irish Film Institute every summer. This year GAZE will take place from the 1st to the 5th of August 2024.

This is a description of a painting titled Pintura En Askeaton, created by Argentinian artist Magdalena Jitrik in 2009. The artwork is an abstract composition that features a dynamic interplay of shapes and colours. Slanted rectangles dominate the painting, overlapping and intersecting with each other. The centre of the painting features a large trapezoid with a red circle inside, which enhances the artwork's sense of movement and energy. The men are conversing with one another and they each eat takeaway food straight out of its disposable container. A bottle of champagne and glass tumblers are also on the table.
