Join us for a free in-person event that will give invaluable insight into the Arts Council’s funding opportunities for film artists as well as details of the range of artist supports on offer through aemi.
This event hosted by aemi will begin with a presentation from Fionnuala Sweeney, Head of Film and Architecture at the Arts Council, on the Arts Council’s role in film and the funding opportunities available in 2026 to support film artists. This will include plenty of time for questions from the audience.
This will be followed by a short presentation and Q&A with aemi co-directors Alice Butler and Daniel Fitzpatrick about the range of supports aemi provides to film artists.
This event is FREE to attend but please email [email protected] to secure your place as seats will be limited.
Please note: The front door of the Irish Architectural Archive is reached by three stone steps from the pavement to a landing, and then one further step at the front door. Beyond the front door is a glazed lobby. From here you can gain access by ringing the intercom bell marked IAA, which is reached at a height of c. 150cm.
If you are a wheelchair user, or find steps difficult, there is a platform lift which can bring you from footpath level to basement level. You then enter the building via a door with no step and can access all floors using the internal lift which is signposted as you move through the building.
Phone +353 1 663 3040 to use the platform lift.
