aemi Updates & Changes

As a result of Covid-19 disruptions, aemi events are currently postponed until further notice. We remain busy however. We are making and proceeding with plans for our public programme, including ways to engage with audiences virtually, something we have been planning for some time but is now more vital than ever. There is a lot happening in terms of online exhibition at the moment, including some thoughtful and engaged responses to our current predicament. We are keeping track of this through our monthly newsletter and that remains the best way to stay engaged, not only with aemi news but also with more general goings-on, you can subscribe for free here. You can check out April’s newsletter here which includes a host of recommendations for online viewing options.

We are also still offering one-on-one support sessions to artists and filmmakers so if you have a project you are developing, or a moving image work that you have completed and are looking to start disseminating, or you have questions about funding, distribution, etc., book in a session and we will do our best to help. As always, these hour-long support sessions are free and with current restrictions in place they are taking place online or over the phone. If you would like to book a session, email us at
