FORUM / FILM

6 September 2024 / 11.30-1pm / Temple Bar Gallery + Studios
An open forum for filmmakers'/artists working with, or interested in working with, the medium of film.

‘DISSOLUTIONS’, an experimental film festival presented in partnership with The Complex, Dublin, will begin on Friday September 6th with FORUM / FILM, an ancillary event that will take place in Studio 6 at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios from 11.30am to 1pm.

This free event will take the form of an open forum for artists working on analogue film.

This special gathering will comprise short presentations from celluloid filmmakers Helena Gouveia Monteiro, Atoosa Pour Hosseini and others about the resources currently in place for small gauge filmmakers in Ireland and proposals of how these could be strengthened and enhanced through collective effort.
