A day long information clinic looking at funding opportunities and approaches to funding for film artists.
About this Event
This day long event co-ordinated by aemi will be made up of several distinct workshops and information sessions. All events are free to attend and open to all but places need to be booked in advance through Eventbrite. Once attendees have signed up and received confirmation they will be given access to all workshops and information sessions and can then select which of these they would like to attend.

A presentation by Fionnuala Sweeney and Audrey Keane of Arts Council Ireland outlining available funding opportunities for artists working in film
11.30am Funding your film for first time applicants
A presentation by film artist Bryony Dunne followed by a conversation with aemi co-director Alice Butler with a focus on applying for film funding for the first time. bryonydunne.com

A presentation by film artist Kevin Gaffney followed by a conversation with aemi co-director Daniel Fitzpatrick looking at strategies for writing successful funding applications. kevin-gaffney.com
3:15pm Getting Your Film Seen: Festival and Exhibition Strategies for Film Artists
A presentation by filmmaker Dónal Foreman looking at his Arts Council funded film The Image You Missed as a case study for how to approach a festival and exhibition strategy for your film. Followed by Q&A with aemi co-directors Alice Butler & Daniel Fitzpatrick. donalforeman.com
