This September: a month long celebration of experimental film

September 2024 marks a truly dynamic season of experimental film activities across the country.

In Dublin on September 6th aemi present DISSOLUTIONS: an experimental film festival at The Complex which runs until September 8th.

In Cork City there will be CineSalon Experimental Film Festival from September 13th – 15th with events online from September 14th – 27th.

In Kilkenny then throughout the month of September there is Out of Focus, which emerged from the initiative of Kilkenny-based artists Juana Robles and Michael Higgins. This series of screenings will take place on three Wednesdays (4th, 11th & 25th) at the Watergate Theatre in Kilkenny, each starting at 7:30.
