Upcoming Arts Council funding opportunities – Film Bursary Award, Agility Award, Touring of Work schemes, Markievicz Award

Applications are now opening through Film for the following Arts Council Awards:
Film Bursary Award
The purpose of the award is to support professional artists at any stage of their career to develop their art practice. It provides artists with the time and resources to think, research, reflect and critically engage with their art.
Maximum award: €20,000
Deadline: 17:30, Thursday 9 February

Agility Award
The Agility Award aims to support individual professional freelance artists and arts workers at any stage in their careers.
Maximum award: €5,000

Touring of Work Scheme
The Arts Council are currently accepting application for the Touring of Work Scheme for 2023, and Touring of Work Scheme – Advance Planning for 2024. The deadline for both applications is 2 February.
Markievicz Award
The Markievicz Award was established to honour Constance de Markievicz – herself an artist – as the first woman to be elected to Parliament and appointed to Cabinet and is intended to:
provide support for artists from all backgrounds and genres to buy time and space in order to develop new work that reflects on the role of women in the period covered by the decade of centenaries 2012–2023 and beyond.
Maximum award: €25,000
Deadline: 17:30, Thursday 16 February
