aemi @ CIFF: Masterclass with Filmmaker Fern Silva ‘Environment Awareness’
Designed for participants interested in social and environmental issues, reportage, travelogue, and other forms of non-fiction art making, this practical workshop will be led by aemi’s Artist-in-Focus Fern Silva at Cork International Film Festival 2022. ‘Environment Awareness’ will be a day-long masterclass at Sirius Arts Centre in Cobh on Friday 18th Nov, 11:30am – 4pm. A free event designed for graduating students and recent graduates interested in working with artist film. Sessions will be led by The Arts Council Film department, film artists Myrid Carten & Frank Sweeney, and aemi Co-Directors, covering topics such as applying for funding for the first time, and what supports are available after graduating.
